important e-mail that you cannot miss, but are tired of sorting through the junk, the spam, and the cute forwards
to find it, this is for you.
Do you think the President has
a private e-mail account? Of course. Can you send to it? Of course not!
But the Vice President, the Secretaries
of State & Defense, and the First Lady can. They must have a super, duper security system with certificates,
authentication, hardware keys, and all kinds of expensive stuff.
Most of us don't want to purchase,
setup and maintain those systems. So here's a quick, easy and inexpensive way for you to do it.
How it works:
This e-mail account should be in
addition to the one you've been using.
Only e-mail addresses that you
approve can send e-mail to your Very Private E-Mail Account. (Your inner circle.)
Everyone else can try, but we'll
block them at the server. This means that you don't waste time maintaining filters and downloading the junk messages.
Unauthorized senders will get a message saying that the e-mail account is private and to contact the account holder.
(We don't tell them who the account holder is - they have to know who they're sending to. If you like, you can
add some contact info to the message.)
You can send to anyone, knowing
that they cannot send back to you. (Unless they're in your inner circle.) You can freely reply to messages received
from your inner circle.
Optionally, a password can be required
or the e-mail will be rejected.
You can add or delete addresses
from your approved list - which is securely stored on our server. The changes go into effect right away.
